Get some Festival clues
Gates Open at 10.30am with the first of eight races at 12.10pm. The last race is at 4.10pm.
The best one day Jump racing meeting anywhere just got even better, with the Victor Chandler Chase being transferred to this day following the abandonment of Ascot.. There are now eight races of huge quality that also provide some final clues to the destination of the big prizes at The Festival. This meeting also includes The Argento Chase, a valuable trial for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup, the biggest race of the season.
Many of the horses that run on Festival Trials Day are having their final start before The Festival and it is rare that this meeting doesn't feature at least one subsequent Festival winner. Big Buck's kept up that record in 2012, winning the Cleeve Hurdle at this fixture before a record-breaking fourth consecutive Ladbrokes World Hurdle victory in March. This is a great opportunity to see some of Jump racing's superstars without the huge crowds of The Festival (and without taking a day off work!). After racing there is another Brightwells Bloodstock Sale.
