Get some Festival clues
Gates Open at 11.00am with the first race at 12.55pm. The last race is at 4.15pm.
Probably the best one day Jump racing meeting anywhere, with seven races of huge quality that also provide some final clues to the destination of the big prizes at The Festival. This meeting includes The Argento Chase, a valuable trial for the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup, the biggest race of the season.
Many of the horses that run on Festival Trials Day are having their final start before The Festival and it is rare that this meeting doesn't feature at least one subsequent Festival winner. Bobs Worth and Bensalem both fell into that category in 2011. This is a great opportunity to see some of Jump racing's superstars without the huge crowds of The Festival (and without taking a day off work!).
