An outstanding two days of racing action
Even on a cold, crisp day in December, the magic remains with two days of the hottest Jump racing around. The season is in full swing, so The International offers a great opportunity to watch the stars of the sport compete at the Home of Jump racing.
The Stan James International Hurdle, a hugely valuable race in its own right, is one of the leading trials for the Stan James Champion Hurdle at The Festival and takes place on the second day of the meeting. Last year’s renewal was won by The New One, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and ridden by his son, Sam. Friday’s racing is equally enthralling, featuring the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase, completing Europe’s Crystal Cup Challenge, a scheme incorporating many different cross country races across the continent.
After racing on Friday, enjoy an evening at the Brightwells Bloodstock sale. For more information see the Brightwells website.
