Three days of racing magic - 15th, 16th and 17th November 2013

A major highlight of the British Racing Calendar, with three days of racing magic, 80 trade stands in The Open Shopping Village, a great atmosphere in the grandstands, bars and restaurants and an historic race. Under 18's are admitted free on all three days. For more details about each individual day of this great event, click on the links below or to the left. Tickets for the The Open go on sale in September.

Countryside Day Fri 15th November

One of the most popular days of the season, Friday is Countryside Day with its unique country fair atmosphere and a range of displays and demonstrations covering many equine and other country pursuits. Gates open at 10.00am with the first race at 1.15pm and the last race at 4.05pm.

Paddy Power Gold Cup Day Sat 16th November

For many racing fans, this is the day when the new Jump racingseason really gets into top gear. The Paddy Power Gold Cup has been run every year since 1960 and in that time most of the sport’s greatest names have won the race. Gates open at 10.00am with the first race at 12.45pm.

The Open Sunday Sun 17th November

Another cracking six race card on a day that sees us hosts a range of children's activities for the first time ever. The highlight is The Racing Post Hurdle, which sees the up and coming stars of the hurdling world take centre stage. Gates open at 11.00am with the first race at 1.10pm and the last race at 4.10pm.
