The Cheltenham Radio team made the short trip from Prestbury Park to the Naunton base of local trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies. He will bring another strong team to the Festival in 2013, with 2010 Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander due to run in the blue ribbon contest once again after pulling up injured in 2011 and missing the race in 2012.
