Ranjaan set for Haydock return22nd November 2012

Ranjaan is poised to return from injury at Haydock on Saturday.

A leading juvenile before a setback caused him to miss the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, the four-year-old steps back on the track in the Betfair Commits £40 Million To British Racing Hurdle.

Harry Herbert, managing director of Ranjaan's owners Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, said: "The plan is to run Ranjaan on Saturday. He seems in very good form and I spoke to Paul (Nicholls, trainer) and he is keen to run."
