Going concerns for Tranquil Sea31st December 2012
Trainer Edward O'Grady is concerned about the very testing conditions at Tramore on New Year's Day ahead of Tranquil Sea's attempt to get off the mark for the campaign in the Holden Plant Rentals Chase.
The Grade One-winning chaser was well held behind Sizing Europe on his seasonal reappearance in the Clonmel Oil Chase, but ran far more encouragingly when third in the Grand Sefton Chase over the Grand National fences at Aintree last time.
O'Grady said: "He came out of his race out of Aintree very well and he has been in good form at home since. My one concern for this race would be the ground."
