McCoy hurt in Wetherby fall2nd November 2012

Tony McCoy was stood down for the day after parting company with Mr Watson prior to the Wetherby Racecourse & Conference Centre 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle.

The Jonjo O'Neill-trained five-year-old was a hot favourite for the opening contest of the two-day Charlie Hall Chase meeting, but was keen going to post and unshipped the 17-times champion jockey.

McCoy looked uncomfortable on the turf, and was attended to by paramedics, but rose to his feet and walked into an ambulance. Mr Watson was withdrawn from the race.
