Sweeney snaps up chance24th February 2013

Sweeney Tunes capitalised on a terrible mistake three out by 4-7 favourite Mikael D'Haguenet to lift the Woodlands Park 100 Club Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase at Naas.

The Willie Mullins-trained Mikael D'Haguenet looked to be going ominously well when his blunder took him from first to last in the Grade Two contest.

Davy Russell needed no further prompting on the Paul Nolan-trained Sweeney Tunes (3-1) and set sail for home, holding the challenge of Charlie's Vic, who came from the rear of the field, by three and a half lengths.
