COLLECTS BUSINESS AWARD

Cheltenham Racecourse warmed up for the start of its new season on October 19 by collecting a significant award at a glittering black tie ceremony last Thursday evening (October 4).

The 10th Gloucestershire Business Awards, coincidentally held at The Centaur at the racecourse itself, was attended by 650 business leaders and guests from across the county.

Cheltenham was successful in the Tourism/Leisure Business of the Year category.

Edward Gillespie, Cheltenham’s Managing Director, said: “We have a top class team here and receiving an award from the local business community is a worthy accolade for them and positive recognition for the hugely positive impact that the racecourse has on the region.”
