Boylesports International

A wonderful two days of the highest class action, which has raised its profile significantly following a huge boost to the prize money last year. As always at Cheltenham, there are many emerging and established equine stars on display and indeed, in 2007, four horses ran at this meeting before going on to glory at The Festival in March. Saturday's card features the boylesports.com International, one of the most valuable hurdle races of the entire season in Britain or Ireland and the ultra competitive boylesports.com Gold Cup, a superb race in its own right and one of the series of 2 mile 5 furlong handicap chases that never fail to illuminate the season at Cheltenham.

On Friday, take your second chance of the season to experience Cross Country Steeplechasing at Cheltenham, with the race won last year by 13 year old course specialist Spot Thedifference, legendary owner JP McManus's favourite horse who has won six times over the course.

After racing on Friday, The Centaur hosts the Brightwells  Sale, with the horses that have cantered up the track in the morning in front of the eager eyes of potential purchasers going through the ring in the evening. For any racing enthusiast this is a fascinating addition to a day of highly competitive racing - and you may easily witness champions of the future being bought and sold.

As ever though, both days are packed full of quality, excitement and fun, both on and off the track.
