Festival Trials Day
This is arguably the best one day Jump racing meeting of the entire season anywhere. Seven races give some final clues as to the destination of the big prizes at The Festival (Five Festival winners ran on this day last season), but this is a day of sporting drama that is far more than a prelude to four days in March. Highlights include the Letheby & Christopher Chase, Byrne Group Cleeve Hurdle and the betchronicle.com Trophy Chase.
After racing, you are again welcome to enjoy an evening at the sales with a Brightwells Bloodstock Sale in the Centaur. Sales catalogues are available by phoning 01568 619 777 or via www.brightwells.com
Rounding the evening off is the Club 16-24 Black Tie Charity Ball in the Gold Cup Room, in the presence of Club 16-24 President, James Simpson-Daniel, of Gloucester and England rugby fame. This event is open to all, with tickets available by phoning 01242 537 654. The 2008 Ball was a sell-out and raised £5,500 for the Robert Alner Fund and Frenchay Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
