Gloucestershire WI Racing Club Trainers' Championship
The Gloucestershire WI Racing Club Trainers' Championship aims to raise the profile of Gloucestershire based Jumps trainers and reward the overall winner. Each of the 21 trainers within the county will be allocated a 'handicap' rating based on their number of horses in training and their number of winners and runners in recent seasons. For every winner trained in Britain between 19 October and 18 April they will be awarded the same number of points as their handicap with any Cheltenham winner or winner priced 25-1 or longer being awarded double points. The 2009/10 winner was Martin Keighley, in 2010/11 Kim Bailey was triumphant and the 2011/12 Champion was Tom George. The latest standings as at 14th April are:
